After a week of facilitating intensive training, my two colleagues and I decided to get out of the house and take a walk around the little town we are working in.
It was a steaming hot day. We stumbled across a group of 4 men sitting in the shade by the side of the road, playing guitars and harps and singing away at the top of their lungs. When we paused to listen, they invited us to sit down.
Before we knew it, they were pouring us ice cold drinks and we were being fully serenaded.
It was one of those 'this is your life!' moments for me - such a lovely, simple and unexpected little gift - sharing music, cool drinks and a moment in time in the shade by the side of the road in Paraguay.
