I'm hopefully this new US administration will be more persevering in their efforts for peace there.<BR/><BR/>I do think it ironic that you mount an offensive against a country and then allow for aid for reconstruction and then mount an offensive and then allow aid for help and on and on. Reminds me of the US policy of promoting peace on one hand but being the biggest arms dealer of conventional weapons on the other.
